For pedestrians, current sidewalks on local streets will mostly stay open throughout construction. Use caution and stay alert while in the work zone.

COMANCHE ROAD AT I-25

The existing bike lane on Comanche Road under I-25 will be temporarily closed to accommodate roadway construction. Cyclists are encouraged to use an alternate route to navigate around the project area. Click the map below to see a recommended route using the City of Albuquerque’s bike network.​

After construction is complete, a new barrier-separated shared-use path will replace the existing bike lane on Comanche Road at I-25, improving safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers. To learn more about the improvements, click here.
