I-25 LANE SHIFT IMPACTS

Beginning the evening of June 19, a traffic shift will occur on the northbound Pan American Frontage Road and the northbound I-25 off-ramp from Comanche Road. To facilitate the lane shift, crews will implement nighttime full lane closures and ramp closures on I-25 Frontage Road between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. starting on the evening of June 19 through the weekend.
The new traffic pattern will help prepare for an I-25 mainline shift later this month.
As early as June 30, crews will shift travel lanes on northbound and southbound I-25 to the outside lanes to begin work on the inside lanes. There will be three travel lanes open in each direction between Comanche Road and Montgomery Boulevard during the daytime. Crews will implement nighttime lane closures on I-25 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. to facilitate the shift, which may take several days to complete.
The new traffic pattern will shift from the current lanes to the newly constructed lanes on I-25 beginning Phase 2 of the project!
The speed limit in the work zone has been reduced to 55 mph. Please slow down and use caution.
